Little Mountaineers Children's Centre is a fantastic Reggio inspired Daycare on the North Shore. A must see!

Before returning to work this year, I spent quite some time researching and visiting daycare centres. When I went to KIP for a walkthrough, I noticed a little girl on the infant side watching TV. I made no comment and carried on with my tour. When I saw the toddler side I was shocked to see all the kids lying on cots, watching cartoons on a flat screen tv. I asked the owner how often the kids watched tv, and she said they put it on for the kids who don't want to nap. i thought, what kid is going to nap with cartoons on?? I walked out with my decision made. I'm not paying someone over $1000 a month for my toddler to watch tv....even for a short time. I found a great daycare, similar in price, and not a TV in sight.
