I am very happy that we made the decision to send our son here to Acorn. [The owner] is wonderful and the staff truly love to be with the kids. My son often asks to go there even when it is not his registered days and on weekends. He is happy to go and happy when I pick him up. They go the extra mile when it comes to occasions (like mothers day) and make cute little take home things for us parents. I love that [the owner] treats it somewhat like a preschool in that they have themes for the months and my son seems to learn so many positive things about himself, others and the world. He is always telling me interesting stories about the day and about the other children that go there.
I also like that they do follow a schedule (which is posted on the wall for everyone to see). They have story, indoor and outdoor play, snacks and rest time. We bring a lunch and snack and they provide the other daily snack. I pay $550 for two days a week and I like that they are kind when it comes to discipline (they use misbehaviour as a learning time rather than punishment). This is a great facility and is clean too (bonus:)) I am thrilled to be able to write this review and look forward to meeting you when you sign your child up.
